The Misadventures of the Late Mz. R.E.

Frost and Fangs

Bambam would lost tw more lives before Bella would put her foot down and keep Bambam with her until Bambam would incredulously (and wonderfully) move out in young adulthood.

The first would be seen sa Bambam being a shithead kid, and her mother would not even bat an eye at the development as it was on brand for the wild child Bam would inevitably evolve into. This was the severe frost bite she would get on her feet to which would be irritated and exacerbated by Bambam burning her feet on a hot light bulb while looking her grandmother dead ass in the eye

Just. To. Piss. Her. Off.

She healed in a weekend and her mother scolded her for injuring herself, when she could have just as easily used resolute willpower and barb wire mouth to send her grandmother into one of her tizzy’s that made reminded Bella’s mother not to mess with the ever recalcitrant Catastrophe and also made her grandpa laugh. Moreover get away relatively unscathed.

However Bambam was who she was. Such thing her mother did appreciate even if it made her shake her head and worry for the future.

However it was the second and last incident that would make Bella keep Bambam close forevermore.

Bambam’s Uncle Vacko. Her mother’s younger and only sibling had a dog. His name was Red and he wasn’t well trained and breed of ill ease. He was out of Vacko’s experience, but Vacko wasn’t known for forethought and as long as Red was tied up their parents conceded that the dog could stay.

This would prove to be a horrifying mistake. One sunny day in the last summer Bambam would go to her grandparents sans mother would be one of the worst and the closest she would ever walk beside the Grim Reaper.

It should be noted that Bambam would end up being even smaller as the sicknesses and injury had stunted her growth. She was barely half the size of Red. Able to ride him like a pony if he had, had the disposition.

It should also be noted that Bambam would often, against her grandpa’s warning, sneak through small spaces in and out of the house. She liked to sneak to and fro to stay out of Beau’s line of sight now that he was that much bigger, that much more stupid and therefore that much more likely to lose his temper and take it out on her.

This day however, she heeded the warnings and went to go through the front door. For whatever reason, Red was tied up adjacent to that very door and for whatever reason decide that he needed to eat that little girl. It would be the last decision he would ever make and unknowingly he put one hundred percent into this choice.

He would fuck that kid up like no one expected or thought could ever happen. Rip her face off her head and ragdoll the shit out of her. He would cause whiplash, a light concussion, a broken nose and it would take 160 stitches on the outside to put her face back and 15 in her mouth. There would be holes in her tongue and she would have the blackest eyes for two weeks. She would heal by the time school started.

Red would die as soon as her grandpa had got her to the hospital. The rage and pain he felt for his grand daughter would be portrayed in the three strong and steady strokes it took to separate Red’s head from his body.

It was the one and only time nobody batted an eye at the savage death of a dog.

That was the only way to amend that particular stop in the Journey that is the Tale of Bambam the Brave
