Blurry Nights

“I need you to walk behind me and check my work”

Did she her her mother right? Why was she checking the work?

Bambam took a real good look at her mother. She was uncharacteristically pale, her eyes dull. Not dead inside dull like usual, but authentically in need of serious rest.

Bambam smirked at her mom.

“We are fucked aren’t we?” she growled out towards her daughter as her eyes slowly closed.

Bambam laughed, well she was pretty sure she did anyway. Bambam was also hungover as shit for lack of better term. It was as though her mother forgotten that she too had been at that party.

Bella indeed had

it was the start to the year of family celebrations where Bambam was finally old enough to stay up with the adults. The things she was learning about the people she had only known as a child. There was a whole other world that her mother had just tucked away in a nook. She and her brothers had truly no idea that this side of their mother even existed.

It would be some blurry nights and slow work days together that would shape this part of the year for Bambam.

Boy oh boy would they be fun.

Bambam and Bella would end up laying on the couch trying to get their shit together, laughing and eating and getting the job done right every time.

Honestly, one the more physically painful and fun legs of the journey that is the tale of Bambam the Brave
