What a fucking day that had been. Mutt and his dogfuck dad had cornered her as soon as her mother left the room. Much to their own detriment. It was a shock that her mom had kept her wits enough not to knock dogfuck out.
She was mentally and emotionally exhausted, Mutt had recorded her while he openly egged her on, while his dad threatened to call the cops on her.
At least they had until Bella had pointed out the size and skin gradient difference. Bambam’s mom could be so vicious and no one ever expected her to say things like that being of the dark persuasion.
Here was the thing though, no one messed with Bella’s kids. There was no room for diplomacy once you messed with any of her kids.
Not. Ever.
No. exceptions.
That being said, Bella had this innate ability about knowing what her kids needed when they were having a shit time.
This time it was a drive.
The first drive of the rest of Bambam’s life. Her mother let her have full control on whether she drove, where she drove. She literally let BamBam circle the parking lot of the gas station on the side of the highway.
That is exactly what Bambam did. She laughed and smiled until her face hurt as she talked her way through the anxiety butterflies, and her mother let her.
She just smiled and encouraged Bambam. It was liberating and lovely and she felt like her heart was going to fall out her asshole as she merged onto the busy highway. Her mom reassured her that she could do it and sat shotgun on the highway portion of the journey that is the Tale of Bambam the Brave
